About the Role:

A QA Team Lead provides technical and functional leadership to the QA team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). They establish testing processes, distribute tasks among QA engineers, monitor testing progress, review test coverage, and ensure that releases meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and mentor QA engineers and testers.
Assign testing tasks based on team members' skills, experience, and project priorities.
Monitor team performance, workload, and testing progress.
Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide technical guidance.
Review the work of QA team members and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

Review and approve test cases, test scenarios, checklists, and test data.
Ensure test cases are clear, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
Work closely with developers to reproduce, investigate, and resolve issues.
Verify fixes and ensure defects are properly closed.
Monitor recurring defects and identify opportunities for preventive actions.
